Malmö in Porcelain by World of Kitchens Ltd

The brief was to create a clean and contemporary feel with a colourful twist to an otherwise dated kitchen. Eye level cooking appliances were a must with a combi microwave installed to free up available worktop space. A relocation of an integrated fridge freezer into a customised unit under the stairs in the utility area (something other studios couldn’t achieve) unlocked the key to everything on the clients brief in a moderately sized room. We were provided a full site measure and survey to obtain a complete client wish list. These included appliances, boiling tap, bin, colours, flooring etc and World of Kitchens provided all other elements. The client settled on the Malmo range in Gloss Porcelain with Isala Warm Grey Oak as this provided a good balance of a bright base to the kitchen helping to bounce the natural light around with an interesting feature to soften and contrast colour and texture. The decided kitchen appliances were, a Neff Slide & Hide oven, Combi Microwave, 60cm Induction Hob with a Telescopic Hood, AEG Integrated Fridge/Freezer & Integrated Dishwasher all fit well into the working area. The chosen worktop is a Silestone Stellar Blanco Worktop fabricated beautifully around the kitchen with the sink area fitted in a Cavaduo Quartz Undermounted Sink and Quooker Fusion 3 In 1 Boiling Water Tap.
