Mags and Matt wanted to create an open and bright space, which they were sceptical in being able to achieve as both their kitchen space and dining area drew in minimal natural lighting. By removing the wall in between the now open plan kitchen dining space, we have achieved sufficient level of natural light entering into the new space and so much more.
A Malmo Handleless kitchen in Matt Cashmere was the perfect choice for this space, pulling in elements of the room together with light colour cabinets and dark furniture complimented with a peninsular and breakfast bar, making this a social yet practical space for family entertainment.
With the refreshed look, the kitchen is fitted with integrated Neff appliances, suspended ceiling with flush fitted Neff extractor, Blanco undermount sink with Quooker Flex boiling-water tap, double appliance housing unit and ambient kitchen lighting. This is now a true family space which is used more than any other room in their house; the flexibility and diversity offered in this space has transformed this families way of life.
Alongside the renovated kitchen dining area is a compact comfy area which resides by the kitchen side; offering a relaxed part of the kitchen to catch up on some TV or read a book. This is a cosy space to curl up in but remain connected to the rest of the family.
“This beautiful space offers a single space for this family to spend time, be it together or separately and offers the flexibility to allow several tasks and conversations to happen simultaneously without disrupting others”
