The client resides in a large detached bungalow and wanted to redesign their original kitchen as the layout was no longer compatible with their lifestyle. A peninsula split the room in half and the suspended units above this blocked a lot of natural light.
The client also wanted the new kitchen to have a classic quality without looking traditional due to the age of the property (late 1990s).
Langton was selected for this reason due it timeless look and smooth painted finish. The use of modern soft close hinges and non-traditional butt hinges also promotes a fresh look.
The integrated larder fridge, freezer and tandem pull out larders form the run of elegant tall units with a breakfront bespoke pantry unit in the centre.
Designer Frasers' comment:
‘In order to maintain interest in a run of tall units why not make a feature by stepping the central units out.’
