Our History

Established in 1867 by the Great, Great, Grandfather of the current Managing Director Ben Burbidge.

Originally work involved making wood turned sports equipment such as cricket stumps and croquet mallets. The first step into larger scale production was to supply the local textile industry with wooden bobbins and other turned equipment for textile production.

Later as Burbidge expanded they began to supply a wide variety of turned wood products for engineering applications.
